Manhattan

We were in class just joking and laughing
Buildings started smoking and I was like "what the fuck just happened"
The planes were crashing and the towers were collapsing
I knew she'd be there; had she escaped or been trapped in?
The girl who watched me on the corner just rappin
She gave me her heart; her body the most beautiful wrapping
Her skin soft as satin besides that I couldn't think only grasp the chair I
sat in
I left her the day before she said "just wait 2 days, I promise I'll be
back then"
I waited in Boston; she never left Manhattan
