in the middle

crowd?
People surround
you
Their noise
envelops you
But you
forgot
to notice
Almost as if
they were
black and white
but you
were painted
in
vivid
color
The hallway
is packed
everyone
is yelling
but
you see
nothing
you hear
nothing
There is
no one there
but you.
