I've wanted to talk on this subject for a while, and now I have. I hope you enjoy the read. :)

HOLLOW FOOL

Where others look, they see,
Halo circling your head,
Standing before me,
The life they wish they led.
Yet I see you in truth's glare,
Fragile, weak, invisible,
A fool illusion about to tear,
Desceptively reasonable.

An idol worth no thought,
Filler in a world of fake,
A tool, I fear you not,
Your life is my dull ache.
So, fool, how does it feel?
To be what others have drawn,
On their lap you obediently heel,
Nothing but a pitiful pawn.

I see you there,
Sitting on your throne,
Like a king most fair,
Yet your spine has no bone.
Oh, but you do rule,
Between Sodom and Gomorrah,
The dens of ridicule,
The dens of you, hollow fool.
