Long Time Gone

So many days since last I came,
Different faces, people change,
The atmosphere as good as ever,
The chatter, as they laugh together.

Into the crowd I swiftly go,
As they all smile and say hello,
And then I hear music begin,
They face the stage, and start to sing.

I feel the spirit fill the air,
I feel Him sweeping through my hair,
This place, it fits me like a glove,
He holds my hand, and speaks with love.

I can't hold back the joyful tears,
I release my pain, my fears,
And as it nears the final song,
I've found the place where I belong.
