First off, the warnings. I haven't edited it yet, I'm not even done with it yet, and won't be for prolly a year. My spelling should be right on, (emphasis on should) but grammar and the like might be a bit interesting
Second off, there's a couple places where I'm generic on purpose, as in when i talk about Roll Playing Games, I really wanted to be specific, but I thought that might be copywrite infringement, and there's another spot where I do something similar.
Thirdly, I don't know much of anything about HTML, so the spaces between paragraphs were not intentional, and I have no idea how to institute different fonts, bold, italics, or anything else, so there's a few parts where stuff is supposed to be italicized but isn't..sorry, I'm not that talented.
Forthly, I'd just like to apologize now for not knowing anything about east-coast slang..I've been over there once in my life, so if any of you over there are reading this and saying to yourself "I wouldn't say that!" or "I've never heard that!" or something, I'm sorry...blame it on the fact that I prolly picked the worst location to set this story in in that resepect..that and the fact that I've never been to Bostin so much as once. Right, moving onwards.
Another thing I should add is that I use terms some people wouldn't know, and some do. Here's the list up til now. If any more come up I'll add them to the list as they come along.
GUR- general university requirement, like english, history, math, etc..
sitting on a room- if you had a room in a dorm you can request for it again the next year, and you'll get top priority on that room.
introvert- lets just say, these people would tend to prefer their own company over that of a large croud. Extroverts are social butterflies.
RPG- Roll Playing Game (can't remember if i used this one or not, but it's here anyway)
R.A.- Residential Assistant in a college dorm (residence hall, whatever) there is one on every wing, they are there to inforce University policy, be a mentor when you need someone to talk to, they're supposed to plan things for the wing to do, that sort of stuff. In return for doing all this, they get their room paid for.
(and one thing I'd like to add is that I use the word Medic in here for ambulence personel, simply because I couldn't think of what they're really called...lets just say this is a product of too much Red Alert)
One last thing, I would rather like it if people who read this story (or anything else I have up) would at least post a number from 0-11 here's what they mean...basically.
0 I couldn't even finish it, it was so bad!
1 Why the heck did you waste my time with this? Why did you even bother writing it, for that matter? THIS BE NO GOOD!!
2 you're lucky, had you done any worse, it would have ended up with yesterdays newspapers
3 bad writing, bad plot, but I was addicted anyway...why???
4 a bit below average
5 just as good as every other person's I've ever read....
6 better than the average
7 not bad, but I've read better
8 I'm pleasantly surprised on how good it was
9 wow, that was great! Not top ten, but hey, not many get up there...
10 a publisher would take it and publish it
11 addicting...where's the rest of it??? GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!
That said, here's the story. Hope you all like it!
(P.S. If you submit a review, I highly advise you check the review spot again later, because in most, if not all, cases, I will eventually post something back commenting on your comments, whatever they may be, and I will thank you profusely for any comments made, at the least. I also have put some interesting things up there in the past, so I suggest reading that space anyway....)
-PPS- If you feel the need at any point to say that Matt cries too much (for a male or just in general), you aren't the only one...I've had several people tell me this already, so there's no real need for you to repeat what's already been said. :) Other than that, reviews are always encouraged and are always welcome!
