~Dancing in the Moonlight~

She stepped out into the clearing. The moonlight filtered through the trees in hazy rays. A small breeze blew, whiling her long hair softly behind her. She stood in the center surrounded by a circle of small birch trees. She stood straight and tall, very still. A cloud shifted and the moon shone bright in it's fullness. A smile appeared on her face and she began to dance. It was a joyful dance, beautiful and vivacious. It was an ancient ageless dance. Sh etwiled, praising the stars and their pure beauty, praising too, all things of the sky. Her skirt whiled as she turned praising the trees and all the green and living earth. Still she danced, her feet bare as she stomped in the dew-wet grass, praising the very earth itself. She danced on, signing as well. Her voice growing loud, her feet dancing faster in ecstatic awe and praise for it's Creator. Suddenly, the moon was again covered by clouds and she halted her dance, collapsing upon the ground. Who would be here when she could dance no more? Who would maintian the connectoin? Without it the world would be cold and empty, an icy facade, without dreams or passion or freedom. How could they be saved of they had forgotten the simplest of truths? They who rejected the first and greatest gift we were given. They who rejected, even the origin of Love? What would become of them? She wept, wishing the sun could burn their fear and hate away and the moon coul wash them clean. Then, the clouds parted and she danced again, puttong her love, her heart, and her very soul into it; she'd dance forever if it would save them. The moon shone brighter bathing her in an ethreal glow. Perhaps, she had been ansvered.
