Heaven's Call- The Missing Scenes

Morgan, Zak, Daemon, Ethan, Theo, Joey, Kidori, Willow  were all sitting in a small movie theater. Schu no ko sat by a film projector and smiled. "Everyone welcome to the special screening of the Missing Scenes of Heaven's Call! YAY!"

Morgan already had his arm around Zak. Zak was trying to convince Morgan to wait until the lights dimmed to start making out with him as Ethan was watching. Theo was grumbling about being seated between Joey and Daemon, while Daemon and Joey were taking turns throwing popcorn at Theo. Ethan had Kidori calming him as he was trying not to kill Morgan. And Willow was yelling at "Wanker" for "being a complete ass" when it came to throwing popcorn. Schu sweatdropped.

"...yeah...anyway, these upcoming scenes were ones I had planned for the chapter, but never wrote or cut for some reason or another. Others were created after the fact that the chapter was posted. So sit back, relax..." She looked down at Morgan. "Don't relax that much, Morgan." Morgan pouted as he removed Zak from his lap. " Thank you. Now enjoy, Heaven's Call- The Missing Scenes!"

As the theater grew dark, Zak’s giggling as heard followed by a whispered, “Stop it, Morgan…”

(From "Dear God Daemon Helps Them...")

Morgan and Daemon walked invisibly through the night time streets of July. Daemon suddenly stopped Morgan and pointed to a house. "That's Zak's."

            "Really?"

"Yes. Want to see him as he sleeps?"

Morgan was already dashing over to the front  door. Daemon smiled.

Morgan snuck quietly in the house and up the stairs. "Which one's his?" he whispered softly to Daemon.

            "The one on the right."

Morgan teleported into the room and smiled softly as he saw Zak curled up on the bed, blanket half off him. He gently pulled the blanket over his lover's sleeping form. He removed his hand quickly as Zak turned over and mumbled "Mmm...Morgan," softly in his sleep.

Morgan closed his eyes as he felt tears forming. He turned and left the room, met his brother waiting for him and the two continued their walk home.

(From "The Heaven's Call Holiday Spectacular")

Zak artfully dodged the snowball thrown at his head, laughed at Morgan and threw another snowball. The snowball stopped in front of Morgan's face as he smirked. The snow surrounding him rose from the ground. Zak watched in awe as the snow came together to form a massive pile in midair. The pile floated over to Zak, right above his head, and fell. A second later, Zak's head emerged from the top of the pile. "Hey!"

Morgan was already smiling down on the boy. He then revealed the snowball in his hand, and smushed it down on top of Zak's head.

"Hey!" With that, Zak's hand came from the snow pile and pulled Morgan down into it.

(This scene was deleted as I decided to have Daemon stay with Morgan after what happened in July, rather than have him alone.)

Ethan stormed through the forest, knowing exactly where he was headed. He burst through the door of the house and was met with the violent squawk of a raven, which he smacked aside on his trek into the bedroom where the warlock lay, staring blankly at the ceiling. The one who had destroyed Ethan’s town, the one who had taken his brother, was right there, seemingly unaware of the hunter’s presence. He promised the town that he would exact revenge upon the warlock that had done this, Zak’s lover or not. What also put him on edge was that Zak was nowhere to be found. Ethan stepped to the bedside where Morgan remained unmoving. He drew his sword slowly and held it above the man’s throat. He paused. He didn’t know why, but he paused.

Then, without warning, the black haired warlock spoke, attention still focused on the ceiling above. “Go ahead, Ethan.” He spoke calmly, as if he were expecting his death.

“You knew I was here? Why didn’t you say anything?”

“Because I wanted my death to come swiftly.”

            Another pause. “Where’s Zak?”

“He left. I don’t know where he is.”

            “So he’s alive?”

“As far as I know. So please. Kill me.”

Ethan stood silently. After about a minute, he sheathed his sword. “I promised July that I would kill you. However, if Zak returned and found that you were dead and I had killed you, he would be devastated. I can’t allow that. But, I did promise to bring proof of your death.”

Morgan turned over on his side, his back facing Ethan and pointed at his ponytail. “Here. Make sure you cut it evenly or it won’t grow back the right way.”

“Are you sure? I mean I could just take something from here…”

“I’m sure. It would look better for you. Besides, it will grow back.”

Ethan cautiously took the smooth, silken, midnight black hair in his hands and drew his dagger the cut it. He could feel Morgan wince.

            “Am I tugging on it?”

“No. I’ve just never cut it.”

Ethan placed his dagger above Morgan’s hair tie. “You have another tie, right?”

            “Of course.”

“Alright good.” With that, Ethan removed the warlock’s ponytail. He trimmed a few straight hairs to make sure the back was even, as per Morgan’s request. “There. Thank you. I’m sorry that I wanted to kill you.”

“I’m sorry I destroyed your town. I didn’t mean to.”

“Didn’t mean to?! You looked pretty intent on it.”

“I’m cursed, Ethan. My curse causes me to lose control of my mind and powers. I’m sorry.” Ethan could hear him crying. “I’m sorry.”

“We’re in the process of rebuilding. The rain stopped the fires, so a lot was saved. It just needs to be fixed up.” Ethan turned to leave. “When you see Zak, let him know I miss him. Mom too.”

“I don’t know if I will see him again.”

            “You will. He loves you.”

“People keep saying that, but I’m not so sure.”

Ethan sighed. “Take care of yourself, Morgan.”

            “You too.”

(This next scene was originally what Zak’s Fairy Tale Corner: Heaven’s Call is, except serving the purpose of introducing Morgan’s parents. I didn’t like how it was going to I stopped writing it.)

Daemon set his tea down on the table. “I’d better be going,” he said to his parents. They had invited him over as they often did to catch up on his life. They had had some wonderful tea and a wonderful chat, but now Daemon wanted to leave.

“Daemon, wait,” his father said, stopping him. “There’s something that we’ve decided to ask you.”

            “What is it?”

His father breathed deeply. This was the hardest question he’d ever had to ask. “Daemon…where is your brother?”

            “Xander is…”

Seth looked his son in the eye. “Morgan. Where is Morgan?”

            Daemon sat back down. “Why?”

“You’re the last person who would know,” said his mother. “We’ve asked everyone else and they have no idea.”

“Have you kept in contact with Morgan? Do you know where he is?”

Daemon paused, rested his elbows on the table, rested his chin on his folded hands, looked directly at his parents and said “Yes.”

“Where is he? How is he doing? What…”

“How much do you want to know?”

“As much as you can tell us.”

Daemon sighed. “All right then. He’s living in the forest outside of July. He lived alone there for about 6 years. Then….”

            “Then?”

            “Well, then he met Zak.”

            “Who’s Zak?”

“The best thing that’s ever happened to Morgan. I told Morgan I would kill anyone that found him living there, as they might be dangerous to him. But instead of telling me to come immediately, he kept Zak with him. It wasn’t until they’d been living together for a few weeks that I even knew. I tried to kill him but Morgan wouldn’t let me. So I let the boy live. To make a long story short, the two are lovers.”

“His lover is a human boy?!”

            “You’ll be upset if I tell you…”

            “Tell us what?”

            “Zak isn’t…exactly human…”

            “What do you mean ‘exactly’?”

            “Well…he’s kind of a half-wizard…”

            The parents stared and blinked.

“…his father was the wizard that cursed Morgan…”

Blink blink. Plus, the father’s eye twitched.

“But Zak didn’t know a thing about it until a little while ago and I killed the wizard.”

            “YOU DID WHAT??”

“Don’t worry don’t worry! You can’t tell it was me!”

The lights came back up in the theater and Schu looked down upon her creations doing anything but watching what she almost had put them through. Ethan was too preoccupied with Kidori to notice the things that Morgan was doing to his little brother. Theo had stopped one side of the popcorn assault by kissing Joey. Daemon was demonstrating his skills by not only pleasuring his wife, but still managing somehow to throw popcorn at his rival’s head.

            “STOP!” the author-goddess yelled.

“What!?” was yelled back in unison.

“Is this going to happen every time the lights go down? Is this just a waste of my time?”

The group exchanged glances, looked back up at Schu and nodded. “Yes.”

Schu sighed, waved her hand and walked off "Fine. I give up. Have your orgy/popcorn fight." A resounding "Thank you!" filled the theater.

(Schu notes: and for now, so ends Heaven’s Call Zero. In a few weeks the sequel shall commence. Now, it is imperative that you go read the post on the livejournal. Very important things are about to happen! Until next time kids.)
