empty

Your empty words

Your empty prayers

Empty pretenses

As if you truly care

So very fervent

In your hypocrisy

But do you really believe

You're being Christ for me?

Do you really think

I could believe these lies?

Think that I'm stupid enough

To fall for this disguise?

The way that you act

Keeping your cool

Such arrogance is ill-befitting

Of a fool

Or do you really mean

All that you say

Your contradictions?

Your superior ways?

I don't have patience

For your sham

So now you think

I'm out of hand

You have never

Been there to catch me

I don't need you now

To be Christ for me

Leave me alone

Shake your head at my ways

Whisper at my back

You won't darken my day

I've always found God

But not in you

You can't bring me back

So don't try to

I know the truth

I know the path

I pity your ways

But I have the last laugh

I hope you find

The way that is true

In future days

Always my prayers for you

Please review:)
