Death

The silence of peace,
Only when the rush will cease.

Life, over at long last,
No need to worry about the past.

The sweet sense of rest,
Lies just beyond death's crest.

No reason for fear,
Good times are forever near.

Feel at one with life's end,
It has passed; a new beginning around the bend.

Who knows what comes after death,
As the silence after a faint breath.

Death, a quiet or violent end,
Death, a terrible enemy, or good friend.
