Decision
It took two long years for the man to make the decision...
He was a young man, in his early twenties
He had eyes as dark as charcoal
He was thin and unsure of himself at times
But he made the decision...
And he didn't look back
No time to reconsider
His frail body careening to the ground
The icy wind eating at his bones
Flashes of his life in seconds
The most important parts
Memories and nostalgia filling him
Filling his soul
Tears sprung to his eyes and dried with the wind
He felt like he was flying
As a grin grew upon his face
In that instant he was happy
In that moment he was free
...And just one jump made all the difference.
