I Am

(Part Five)

By: Luna M.

Well, here it is. Another part of this never ending poem. I wonder how long it will get…

Thanks for the reviews!

I am a house built without walls,

I’m a creature that runs and never stalls,

My thoughts are deep and emotions shallow,

My spirit’s within, but my body’s hollow,

I will not be, but have become,

I will go to, and have been from,

I’m the loudest sound, that can’t be heard,

Without syllables, I am a word,

I am the old, that’s become new,

I’m a ship that sails without a crew,

I’m a shreaded rag that can be worn,

I’m the wanted gown, that has been torn,

All life is empty and full of emotion,

Do not try, just show devotion,

I’ve seen many years, yet haven’t been born,

I never promise, as I have sworn,

My most daring designs are nothing at all,

Inside a square, I am a ball,

My mind is blank and full of thought,

Surrounded by happiness, I am distraut,

The healthiest soul suffers with many disease,

When I want to hurt, I aim to please,

When I don’t move, to me it’s motion,

I’m a rash that is caused from a skin-caring lotion,

I can attract and can repel,

I will always buy whatever I sell,

For me to add, I must subtract,

In real life, I will only act,

I’m an umbrella that’s stops everything, but rain,

I’m a wild animal that had been tame,

I’m a lake that reflects personality,

I’m a slave who works and thinks is free,

I’m the best at math, but what’s a number?

I have woken from an endless slumber…

I’ll update as soon as I write up the next page. Remember, if you have any ideas that haven’t been mentioned before, I will be glad to put up your own line(s). Till next time… Toodles! Luna.
