Out to Sea

The fog closed in on the serene lit beach. Silence spoke over the crashing waves, and night struck the eyelids of birds, as dewdrops covered their wings like coins in a fountain. Foot prints were washed away after acting like the beach was their home. The moon bathed in the calm waters of the sea. Suddenly, with a quick rush of wind, the ocean fell into the cliff causing parts to topple over. The nests of the birds fell from where they were and the birds rose up, fluttering, causing rain to fall from their body. Peoples wishes were lost. The moon shrunk from embarrasment, and the fogs icy cast thawed. Silence stuttered and the beach grew dark. And the small nest floated like boats out to sea.
