SIMPLE CARESS

Father, let Your love rain down upon me
Drench my body till every nerve is soaked
Consuming my human shell with tornadoes
That break the imperfect flaws I possess

Mighty storms of righteousness form now
As I wait for the chance to be cleansed
A spiritual zombie awaiting rejuvenation
Counting down to the impending winds

You’re a silent rage…
You’re a hurricane…

Lighting strikes as your energy flows within
A simple caress to make my heart overflow
Rivers of purpose and a sense of my goal
Fill my senses as You are all I see again

Total completion is what You can create
Within the pounding rains that blanket me
A storm of Your perfectness cast upon me
Heaven’s hurricane to reawaken my spirit
