The answers are written,
But the book lies unpublished.
The editor is on vacation,
And the printer lies broken.
The final chapter is abandoned,
The first is rewritten.
Mankind is the author,
Pushing Nature aside.
We alter the life chapters,
And throw out the rest.
Then wait for the publisher
To give us a check.
And the check's in the mail-
But we won't receive it.
We lost all of Life,
Having tried to deceive it.
