In the corner was a dunce.

There used to be laughing and,

Shouting here once.

The school bell chatters,

In the school children did sing.

There used to be shouting and,

Laughing. Oh what a din!

Their work is unfinished,

The lunch room is still.

There used to be shouting and,

Laughing…..
