Ink Well

Teetering on the edge of gravity
No inclination of where to fall
In it a restless opaque sea
Crystalline and small

Slowly crashing down against the grain
Speeding down towards its death
Bleeding as the backlash of glass shatters in pain
Splintering up and groaning with breath

Blackened blood flowing through the fractures
Flooding towards some unknown destination
Devouring til it reaches the edge of what is sure
Plunge even further down without hesitation

AN: I wasn't entirely sure if I made this as understandable as I had hoped.
So for those who wish one, and explanation:
This is about an ink well falling over, breaking,
then all the ink dripping to the floor.
Really though, it has nothing at all to do with an ink well at all....
