Of a Great Friend

Olive-skinned;

Warm honey-kissed;

Sea of deep blue,

Deep pools of two;

Cocoa sweet smooth,

Flowing honey vermouth,

Fading serene,

Well rounded youth

Bright and clean.

Deep, quiet mystery

That holds both kind and fair--

Can’t help to hold intrigue--

Speak of an upturned lotus pair.

A soft-spoken, bold lass

Surely to take a pique,

And rarely, rarely ever crass

Interest to which I seek.

Intrigue, intrigue takes me by the wrist

And slams me like a wall;

A wall to be scaled

And to hopes I’m not oft to fall.

Neutral colors in wave of silence;

Baring barely bearing but knowledge of the soul

Knowing more of you and myself,

A wonderful person,

A glorious soul.
