Tiki Torch

In a blue Hawaii,

I lie

on the sandy shores

of Ala Moana

on a towel

with a picture of a surfer girl

loving a beach boy.

Behind black ray-ban sunglasses

lookin' like I'm California dreamin'

As boys of the summer

past me by

walking on the boardwalk

My friend,

the earth angel,

laughs at the chicks

who decide to get low

And I,

smile

as I watch over

all the small things

The flickering flame

of a tiki torch

casting its glow

into the night
