The next few week flew by as Trista filled her schedule with extra curricular activities. All she wanted was to forget the pain and the only was to keep herself busy.

"Trista! Wait up!" Rianna called out as she ran after me, her hair flying behind her. I stopped walking and waited for her to catch up as I shifted my books to my other arm.

"Ey Rianne." Trista said with a smile as they began to walk side by side.

"Dang Tris, I feel like I haven't talked to you in ages." Rianna said.

"Well I've been busy with school and stuff." Trista replied uneasily as she looked down nervously not wanting to meet Rianna's worried eyes.

"Ey, do you think we could talk after dinner? I really need to talk to you about something." Rianna said as they stopped in front of Trista's dorm. The uneasiness between them grew as Trista kept silent, pondering if she should say yes or no.

"Yah sure, um. I'll see you then." Trista said with a shrug as Rianna let out a sigh of relief. They exchanged their good byes before Trista entered her dorm leaving Rianna to head to her dorm.

~Rianna's POV~

Dang, I wonder what's going on with Trista. I mean she's so distant and. well sad.

I continued to walk down the hall when I bumped into Tom causing my books to fall on the floor.

"Bloody Hell." I muttered as I knelt on the ground to pick up my stuff.

"Damn Rianne, I didn't mean to bump into you. Sorry 'bout that." Tom said as he helped me gather my books. I felt my heart beat faster as his hand bumped me.

I stood up just as he did, a small smile plastered on my face. Ah! My heart won't quit beating so bloody fast!

"It's okay." I replied as he handed me my Algebra book while repeating how sorry he was. Damn! He was so soddin' hot!

"I gotta go little sis, Trista promised me she would help me with the Algebra lesson." He said sheepishly as he adjusted the strap of his bag.

"Okay, bye big bro." I said with a grin as I tried to hide the fact that I was blushing like crazy. He gave me a small wave and a smile to die for before he walked away. I felt my heart flutter as I continued to walk to my dorm. I wonder how Trista will reply when I tell her that I like her best friend.

~End of Rianna's POV~

Tom hurried into the dorm and threw his backpack on the floor. Trista looked up at him from the couch her lips formed into an amused smile.

"You're late." Trista replied with a grin as he sat down beside her and pulled out his Algebra book, a notebook and his pen from his bag.

"He, he. Sorry Tris, I accidentally ran into someone." Tom said with a grin as she looked at him.

"Hm. whatever you say Tom, now let's get started before I change my mind." Trista said with a smile as she opened her Algebra book.

An hour or so later.

"TOM! LET ME GO!" Trista squealed from her place underneath him. Tom just laughed as he continued to tickle her. Trista pushed him slightly causing him to fall off of her. She laughed softly as he pouted.

They both stopped laughing as their eyes connected. Tom placed his hand on her cheek before their lips met.
