A Rose Amongst Flowers

You see

in movies all the time

where love is

challenged

by some sort of test

on a couple's relationship

To me,

if you really want to find

another

who you want to love

keep this in mind:

DON'T settle for easy

affairs where

you two come together

as simply

as effortlessly

as picking up a daisy

DO settle for

the rose

that pricks and draws

blood from you

when you first

pluck it

from the garden

for it will be

that much sweeter

when you realize

that you survived that

first encounter
