Color bleeds from my view

Puddles into something new

And resonates with each new hue

Soon completely drained away

Leaving only shades of gray

Points of light spark and dim

As tragedy strikes again

Darkness blossoms in wavering ripples

Blocking the sparks and the sun

A slow steady chord

The only sound in the black

Echoes of the straining note

Make bright red stars appear.

Breathing becomes so foreign

So I say with my last sigh

ÔMy fallen star I miss you

And IÕll be with you tonightÕ
