I dreamt I had a dream
Of a little fish stuck up a tree
No one was there to see
Or hear its polite greeting to me.
It spoke of a dry cloth in the ocean depths
And of two bald men pulling each other's hair
It told me to retrace its hasty steps
And talk to the lion in his lair.

Walking my pizza on a leash
But it turned into a puppy t'was no lie
Right after it ate my plum quiche.
Ride a bus with no windows
Where was my fatal destination?
Like a prisoner taken to the gallows
In the middle of a clever fabrication.

Dream a dream or dream of me
