‘Thank you’s and animal stickers of your choice for all the people who reviewed this. I sorry this is so short but I felt it was about the right place to stop on this chapter.
May your fluffy bunnies of DOOM always be fluffy.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
She turned a corner into another steaming alley. The chain-link fence rattled as she climbed it. Zack took advantage and sprinted for it. By the time he had his hands laced through the metal, she was scrambling to get away on the other side. Ethereal or not, he still had to climb over obstacles. To hell with movies and everyone in them that could walk through walls. In the real world, if you went through a wall it meant that you got blown through it.
Once over, he ended up standing in the middle of a busy side walk. It was too hard to avoid people, so he returned to the empty alley ways. As he walked through them he only just managed out of the corner of his eyes to see her at the back of a dead end. Her eyes blazed as she glared at him. Her raven hair was mussed from running.
“Who the hell are you?”
He looked at her, she would break her back if she had it pressed up against the wall any harder. “An angel?” he offered.
Her clear black eyes shifted behind him. “Well, angel do something about them!”
Three bulky men walked into the alley, obviously thugs.
He saw Rei bring up her palm to the wall. She fell through it. At least that was the only word Zack could come up with to describe it. She had suddenly just... slipped, through the brick.
Suddenly the men began spraying the area she had gone through with bullets.
As one went through his leg, he was thrown back into his body.
