“Soliloquy”

By Dark Pegasus

On the night of this full moon,

I’ll tell you what I’ve longed for

In the air is a lingering doom

of we can escape long before

On this night of clear skies

I will tell you what I hold dear

To escape this danger, let us fly

Or else you be bound by your fear

On the night I’ve claimed our own

I shall tell you how I deeply feel

I know it comes tonight--I can feel it in my bones

This sorrow hidden inside me I alone must deal

The feeling inside I compare to a white dove

This feeling inside--my dear--most greatly must be love
