Author's Note: This story can serve as a sequel to my other story, "The Legend of Demons and Elves," but I plan to make it so that it can be independent on its own. ^^
At the Dead Marshes, the capital of the Kingdom of Demons, an important conference was being held. There, in the dark eerie conference room, were the remains of the top officers of the demon troop. A female sitting on the highest chair spoke up. "I have some extraordinary news everyone! I've found a way that we can recover what we have lost. Has anyone heard of the legendary Guardian of the Sea?"
The other demons looked at each other with very puzzled eyes.
"Yes your majesty, but there is no proof that the Guardian of Sea truly exists," a demon answered.
The demon queen smirked confidently. "Yes it does. The truth is I've been doing research on it for the past few years, and I've managed to find something that tells me that the legend is real." The demon queen raised her right arm high and in her hands stood a strange-looking mirror.
"That's the legendary Mirror of Aqua!" the demons said, bewildered.
"Yes. According to historical recordings, it should give us clues to the location of the great sorcerer." The demon queen began shouting at the artifact. "Mirror of Aqua, show me where the Guardian of the Sea is hiding!" The mirror floated on top of the woman, turned itself into a big screen, and began to form a moving picture. "I see humans! So this must be the human world! Now, show me the Guardian of the Sea!" the woman shouted fiercely to the mirror. The image of the human world disappeared, and what came up next was a live picture of a teenage boy. Every demon gasped.
"The Guardian of the Sea is merely a human boy?"
"Even better. We'll capture him and use his power against the elves," the demon queen said. Her eyes fell on a distinctive-looking demon kneeling in front her. "Fal!"
"Yes, your majesty."
"Since you have proven yourself a very capable young man, I will put you in charge of capturing the Guardian of the Sea as soon as possible. If you complete this task without fail, I will raise your rank."
"Understood."
"Very well! The conference is now over. All of you may leave," the demon queen announced. As Fal and the other demons retreated from the room, a shadow cast over the her face as she smiled in a dark and twisted way. "I shall avenge you, Devindil," she said, gazing at the Mirror of Aqua. The gorgeous human boy in the mirror was laughing and enjoying his life, he had no idea of the darkness that was approaching him.
"KILL THE ELVES! DRINK THEIR BLOOD!" the demons chanted in unison as they marched out of the room.
