Ages and ages ago, mankind was at war with supernatural beings, the most hostile being the elementals. Now centuries later they have found to be reincarnated into the bodies of 4 teenage girls. Fire, water, air and earth. The government being "cautious" sends the 4 girls to a school secluded in a town of elemental and supernatural beings. How are these 4 girls going to adapt to life as an elemental? And most importantly will they be strong enough to decline their duties from their past lives: Destroying mankind? Things could get messy.

Chapter 1: The Elementals
Puberty, something everyone goes through at one time in their life. A time when one's body changes. Changing in ways, I won't go into now. But for four teenage girls, painful, monthly cramps are the least of their worries. Sometimes these changes can be life altering, and could change the world's perception of you.
"Something must be done." a woman with brown hair drawn up in a tight bun said angrily leaning against a desk holding a stack of papers. "It's a threat to our children; it's a threat to the very world around us."
"I agree!" a woman said raising her hand in accord.
"Excuse me!" a man yelled getting up from his chair. "These are human beings we speak of!"
"But think of what could happen, world destruction!" the woman said fear lining her already shrill voice.
"Glenda, I told you time and time again," he said irritably, "I'm dealing with it, I'm sending them to The Elementary School of Magic."
Some of these changes will lead you to a lifetime of segregation and loneliness. But doubtfully, one change in the chemical balance of YOUR body will leave you being the living being of seclusion. That is, unless you are an elemental.
Tru Feuer, Kendri Wasser, Sylvie Luft, and Adeli Erde are the reincarnations of the four elementals that lived centuries ago. These four elementals were the cause of the Dierny War. It was a war between the supernatural beings and the humans, which ended in a truce. The war was a call for power, as the humans' attempted mass totalitarianism against the supernatural beings, mainly the elementals that made up most of that population. The humans failed to see or acknowledge the true strength of these beings. Leading to the truce was the surrender of the humans pleading for forgiveness. Although the others humbly forgave them, four of these supernatural beings, the elementals, would not stand to let the humans be pardoned so hastily.
The elementals swore their return as they were burnt and stoned to death in village square. For a many of years, the people who were believed to be possessed with the spirits, were dealt with just as the elementals had been. In those several years the death toll reached its peak, it was considered the biggest tragedy since the Salem witch trials and the Holocaust many years back. Considering the attitude and rash decisions due to segregation. Now over 10 centuries later, a new threat has arisen in the bodies of four oblivious high school students.
The Elementary School of Magic is a school for "gifted children", as they say, refraining from using the words "possible threat to the world." Not only are elementals sent there, but also students with high ESP, Telekinesis, Stigmata and other unexplained phenomena's. Just goes to show how the world wants to keep the different; invisible.
Meanwhile, the moon shone against the sky, so clear as if it were a painting. The streets were dark, all except one house, one window. A girl sat on her bed, the phone to her ear with a rather displeased look on her face as she spoke.
"Hey Kendri, did you hear?" she asked flipping her red hair out of her face. She wore a black t-shirt with the words "Tenacious D ©" on it and Capri pants with long knee-high black socks and a pair of Dr. Martens.
"Yeah," the voice said from the other line, "did you get that uniform Tru?"
"Ugh, don't remind me." Tru said looking over her shoulder at the strange uniform hanging from her closet door.
"How are your parents taking it?" Kendri asked.
"Well," Tru said slowly, "They couldn't be happier." She sighed deeply. "Once they found out I was an elemental or whatever, they wanted me out as soon as humanly possible."
There was an awkward silence between the two of them for a few minutes until Tru broke it.
"Hey, Kendri, could you meet me in the park in 5?" she asked looking out the window.
"Sure, I'll see you then."
The street lamps shone brightly along the street as Tru sat on a swing staring up at the stars. She clutched the chains of the swing and sighed feeling the soft wind against her cheeks.
"Hey, Tru!!" a voice called causing Tru to look over her shoulder at the source of the sound.
Kendri had short blue hair and wore a shirt with the drawn words "Punk" on it and a pair of jeans and a pair of blue converse. She was also carrying a purse on her side.
"What's up?" she asked walking over to the swing beside Tru.
"Just wanted to talk without my parents breathing down my back." she said laughing slightly. "It's like they are trying to find reasons to have me terminated, OoOoO, like they think we are all plotting against them."
"Well, we will be leaving tomorrow morning to go to that special school for us." Kendri said with a slightly hopeful look on her face. "At least you won't have to deal with your parents."
"Well, what makes you think this school is any better?" Tru asked looking up leaning back on her swing. "I bet its run like a prison."
"Where do you think they got the idea that we were what they say we are?" Kendri asked looking down at her feet.
"Well, probably due to the fact we can disperse fire and water from our hands for one." Tru said looking at her hands as if they were some strange foreign object.
"Yeah." Kendri said dolefully.
"That still doesn't give them the right to discriminate against us." Tru said angrily. "Didn't they learn anything from the past, that's why we learn about the past after all, right, so we don't make the same mistakes?"
"I mean look at what happened in the Holocaust, and in the Civil War." she began again but started to mumble. "Why is the government so stupid?"
Kendri laughed a little. "I think that's a question asked for centuries, I don't think we will ever get an answer."
"What do you think they are going to "teach" us as this new school?" Tru asked as they began to walk home.
"I don't know," Kendri said her tone of voice becoming more cheerful. "Well, look on the bright side; it can't be JUST us there right?"
Tru nodded. "Yeah, I guess you're right."
"Hey, you never know, the school could be packed with cute boys." Kendri said laughing. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow Tru."
Kendri walked up the stairs to her front door waving back at Tru.
"Till tomorrow." Tru said almost inaudibly waving back.
To be continued in Chapter 2: The Elementary School of Magic
What is awaiting Tru and Kendri at this new school? What exactly are they supposed to be learning? Of course, more importantly in Kendri's mind, who is that über cute boy!
Also I do not own Tenacious D, as I gave it copyright where I mentioned it, because it is an amazing band formed by Jack Black and Kyle Gass. It's a little vulgar but I love it. )
