The Angst Poems

Flowers and Stars

Stars shine as so many teardrops

On a velvet dress; deep blue and melancholy

Staining black

Blacker than anything

Blacker than nothing

And the petals fall in your hair

Laughing and floating, they stick in the sunny brown silk thread

Pink bits of unborn cherries

The flowers someday die

The stars someday vanish

And all that is left is a velvet dress; deep blue and melancholy

Strewn with brown silk

And stained not black, but crimson.

-end.

Red Ball

Put all this shit on a rocket ship

Send it away

away, away

Blast it into motherfucking space!

Your heart, your innocence

it doesn't last

it doesn't last

In this cold world

kids grow up fast (too fast!)

And become out cast

They're society's outcasts

I don't want to die

I don't want to die

I don't want to die

Your tears make me cry

and cry

and cry

I don't want to fucking die!

I'm an outcast

I grew up too fast

but I was already old

In my world of dim and cold

And in the skies of blue

Thirteen doves flew

And it was then that I knew...

I'm dead.

-end.

White Feather

Don't disenchant me

with your honest lies

Flying, flitting on the

purity of a dove's wings

Nighttime forests

Daytime skies

See the falling star?

It is the teardrop of an angel.

-end.
