The Scrap Poems

1:30

~*~

I'm almost done

Y'all know it don't matter now

So let me finish

And join you here

-end.
Brick

~*~

My back hurts

It throbs with the raindrops

That echo my broken heart's beating

Vibrating through my very soul.

-end.
DON'T

~*~

Don't sleep

Don't eat

Don't eat

or drink

Don't blink

Don't breathe

Don't live

Don't die

Don't speak

DON'T

-end.
Earthquake

~*~

It's too late now

Not my fate!

I will not bow

It isn't fake and idolized

forever

Your heart tells you, though

"Never say never"

-end.
Only Paper

~*~

Shake hard and wrathful

Run far and long

Dirtied and wandering and hurt

Heal slowly, lick your wounds

~

It was only paper.

-end.
Pet Demon

~*~

Would you like to meet my pet demon?

He sits in a cage

made of bone and flesh and hair

He's kind of wavy

and pinkish-grey

He sometimes is and angel

But I like my demon

Although his madness drives me crazy

Or was it that I was already insane?

~

I do not know

Neither does my demon.

~end.
Realize

~*~

Do you realize

that all of this

is just the same message

reassembled and

magnified?

-end.
September through December

~*~

Snake through winter trees

Leave the leaves alone; they'll leave

Frosted greens, reds, browns.

-end.
Slumber-Pig

~*~

When love

flies through

Our midnight skies

... Then, the world sleeps.

-end
Summer Drums

~*~

Bass drumbeats vibrate

through humid summer roads

A carwash is empty

How can't you have fun?

-end.
Window

~*~

Dance through ethereal forests

on feather tiptoes

toe tips tip tongues talking torrids of terrors of torture

Rain falls

Stained red and blue glass.

-end.
