Title: Gray Dust
Author: Heather P.

Black and broken,
A scrap of carbon paper,
Sleeps upon my tender thighs,
While the sun burns my eyes,
Which ever wish to see beyond the stars.

A bit of blood slid down my lips and decayed,
As tears upon the grass,
Touching my knees upon the earth,
Whose life exudes through me,
A joy and sadness equally profound.
