Night Girl

I ran with you, when you needed to

I bathed you, when the hounds tore you

I saved you, when thought of death bestowed upon you

You fed me, when I starved

You held me, when I cried for this world to end

You kissed me, when love was so far away

I loved you, like no other

I gave my self to you, when you need presents

I left, when you said, "let's go."

We ran like the wind, the hounds nipping at my heels

We fell, into each other, when your love was lost

We bathed together, when you need help to stand

I am not your feet, you have your own

I am not your mother; I'm not your slave

I am not your night girl; I have color of my own

You are mine, you were from the moment I said so

You are my night girl, push you back

You are beautiful, when I made you so

I am a free person, or was before you

I run when I need to, not when I am tired

I stand on my own feet when I have to

We ran, so you could be free, not me

We loved, because you had no other

We raped me, together we stripped me

You belong to me, I bought you

I belong to myself

You belong to me, I bought you

Bought me with fake love

I am not your night girl, I am my own color.
