Ms. Karen Cale ~*~*~*~ By: LinkGirl

Note: A camera-eye view of how this woman feels.  Can you guess her emotions?

-------------------------------------------------------

The sun was beginning to set on the horizon as Ms. Karen Cale watered and cared for the garden of the Nakagawas.  She stared at the fading light for quite a while, and it was only till she realized darkness had come, did she remember her job was not yet done.  She still had the roses to attend to, the flowers that took the longest to care for.

She slowed her walk as she approached the roses.  And when she arrived at the flowers she stared at the many of them, not moving for a long time.  When Karen did move, it was not in any way for the care of the flowers; she turned her head upward the gazed at the moon.  On this night, the moon was full and illuminated most of the woman’s surroundings.

Ms. Cale’s head quickly turned when she heard someone’s approaching footsteps.  She hid behind a large statue and watched as the Nakagawas’ teenage daughter came into view with a young man beside her.

The two young adults made soft conversation, if any conversation at all.

Soon the two passed by; going on to another part of the garden, out of sight.  But Karen did not come out of the shadows.  She had slid to the ground with her head down.  And stayed there for the next half hour.
