Chapter twenty-four / epilogue:

Did you know that if you threw a penny from the CN tower the tallest tower in the world and it landed on someone it would kill a pedestrian? Apparently if you even spit from the top of the tower and it landed on someone they would end up with a loogy on their head and a headache. I bet your wondering what this has to do with anything. Well let me tell you. The mission tower is ninety-six stories above the ground. I walk by it everyday to get to school. It's kind of funny when you think about though. Ironic even. Some big shot thought he was so cool because he threw a penny from, the roof and it hit me on the head. You may have heard me cry before (or got a description of me crying) but I had never cried so much before in my life. David freaked out and tried to calm me down.

Let me ask you this. If you got hit on the head by a penny with the force of gravity would you be calm? I think not. Afterwards (after I stopped crying that it) we continued walking to school. Anyways I was telling David why people were stupid when I fell into that manhole I managed to avoid the other day. After getting out of the manhole the most absolute embarrassing thing happened.

I bumped into the one and only Leo DiCaprio. How? I have no idea but I did and know what the first thing he said was. " Man what reeks, you can't expect me to do my next scene with something that reeks so bad!" but of course the thing that reeked so badly was me. I couldn't even walk up to him and ask for an autograph because I quote "reeked".

" Look, just because you reek doesn't degrade you in any way." David said. Just then I walked under that apartment where that guy who always threw trash lived. But this time was different. He got David and I both covered in trash. I picked up my cell phone. And started punching numbers. " I guess I should do the same." David said also getting his cell out.

" Mom." I said into the phone. " I'm skipping today. I smell of garbage and sewage."

" Okay honey, I'll see you when you get home." She said.

" Okay bye." I said into the phone. I looked at David and saw he was also done.

" So what are we going to do?" I asked him.

"First there's something I have to tell you." He said blushing. " You might get mad. But I wanted to know what it was like."

" What was like?" I asked.

" You know to be burdened with bad luck." He grimaced.

" Seriously?" I asked.

" Oh yeah, why do you think I got hit with trash too?"

" You are psychotic." I laughed and punched him playfully.

" Hey at least I wasn't burdened with being born with bad luck." He retorted.

" Yeah well. It will end in seven years." I told him. I kicked my self because seven years meant not watching my precious Titanic DVD till then.

"Seven years isn't that long."

" Whatever you say." I laugh.
