Abbey
A Poem by Crow08
A/N: Inspiration comes cheap.

Out the window it is raining,
And the clouds are black as stone;
Out my backdoor it is pouring,
And I'm trapped in the house alone.

Everyone else is winning,
They make all the deals;
Yet here I am with everything,
And I still have to steal.

Abbey in the moonlight
Abbey in the square
Abbey in the dark light
Abbey, why do you stare?

In the church they worship
Their god's and their friends;
And they think that I have the hero,
That will prolong the end.

In the forest they watch us,
Dance around and round.
Our hearts are in the trees and leaves
With nothing but the sweet river's sound.

Abbey in the moonlight
Abbey in my land
Abbey in the dark light
Please, Abbey, let's do what we can.
