Old Soul

My soul, what can I say about it?
It is old; older than one can think.
I was never young and never will be,
Though my body looks that of a 15-year-old girl.
My old old soul.
My soul, it is my pride!
It was there when the pyramids went up.
It was there when Hitler slew so many Jews.
It is here now.
My old old soul.
My soul, it knows many emotions.
It knows fear, a lot of fear.
It knows anger, so much anger.
It knows happiness, but not the happiness it needs.
My old old soul.
It never knew love.
