As she pulls into the driveway of their old Tudor style house on Alison Lane she notices his car is gone, she's home a day early from her business trip so she didn't really expect him to be there. She puts it easily out of her mind, disregarding it as nothing unusual and continues up the walkway to their front door. It's already unlocked, apparently he forgot to lock it on his way out, as he often does, so she simply enters, again thinking nothing of it. Her suitcase is heavy with clothes a papers she had taken with her to this conference in New Jersey. She goes straight down the main hall, passing the first bathroom and the two extra bedrooms (maybe she'll see kids playing there one day), to their bedroom to unpack her suitcase and repack her briefcase. She turns the corner from the hallway into the room and finds another woman asleep in their king-size bed. Dropping the suitcase she goes to the bed where a sheet of paper has been placed on the edge, the writing is her husband's: "Hey Dollface, I'm out of cigarettes, I'm gonna go pick up a pack. I'll be back soon, hopefully before you wake up. Love always, Casanova".
