To my mother –

You’re my mother, my creator.

From your womb did I come,

with your loving care, affection,

I took my first breath.

The shining silver light of

your everlasting guidance,

do I follow still now.

The loving hand of yours

was always there for us.

A hand I never want –

to see vanish from me.

First steps, new teeth,

First loves, lost friendships.

First bikes, soon driving.

First holiday, bad grades,

You were there for it all.

You were my mother, my creator.

I love you forever eternal.

Thank you mother,

Thank you for your light.
