Today my depression eased
There was no need for crying
Today there was no one I needed to please
So there was no need for lying

Today is one of those days
When everything, everybody seems so unique
Today is one of those days
When, I, myself feels complete

The sun brightly shines although the sky is gray
Trees proudly stand tall, as flowers beautifully bloom
Even though I view life threw a classroom

Today is one of those days
It is like inhaling a sugar sweet fragrance
Or your favorite aroma
It’s so refreshing
A delightful tingling to the brain and the nose
Today I feel normal, alive and not alone

In my flowing blood I feel no angst
It’s like I actually belong in this world
....I have a place

I’ll end this poem now so I can enjoy my day
Maybe I’ll sing...or perhaps I’ll play
I just love these days just like today
