I am

By Sukunami Taka

I am the Darkness Incarnate,

I am Satan,

I am the Devil,

I am Lucifer,

I am the Bearer of Light…

I am innocence,

I am pure,

I am lost…

I am honesty,

I am rare,

I am gone…

I am charity,

I am forgotten,

I am scorned…

I am trust,

I am feared,

I am repressed…

I am hope,

I am given,

I am betrayed…

I am care,

I am hidden,

I am paid…

I am forgiveness,

I am past,

I am thrown…

I am love,

I am here,

I am wavering…

I am kindness,

I am locked,

I am stabbed…

I am the Darkness Incarnate,

I am Satan,

I am the Devil,

I am Lucifer,

I am the Bearer of Light…

I am known,

I am worshipped,

I am shunned,

I am born of darkness with light within,

I am abhorred,

I am hated,

I am cherished,

I am the Darkness Incarnate,

I am the Bearer of Light,

Do you know what I am?

This came out a little different from when I thought it up….but its impact should still be there…at least I think so…..

Catherine Webb’s Waywalkers is the source of inspiration for the verse with ‘I am the Darkness Incarnate’ (stanza one and nine)…. Waywalkers is a great book, with fantastic vision behind it….

Anyway, hope whoever reads this enjoys it…..
