Winter
I never did like Winter.
There was too much death in the air.
The leafless trees would sway in the chilly wind.
The animals would hide from society.
It doesn't seem fair,
That when the snow falls heavily that you can't see kin.
And something so beautiful as snow could kill you.
I hated how the trees had no leaves.
I hated how the animals would hide.
I hated how beauty could destroy you.
I never did like Winter.
