Into the dark I search for you
Shoving away the branches of trees I search for you
Why oh why do I search?

As I push away the leaves from my face I see a clearing
It is lush with green grass and has a small stream running through it
Where are you?

I see the moon over me
It looks so majestic
Why oh why do I search?

Suddenly everything is silent
The wind has died down and I hear a new sound
Is it you?

Someone steps out into the clearing
All I see is a shadow but I know who it is
It really is you!

We come together in the darkness
And we embrace as lovers who know nothing more
Now I know why I searched.
