Our love?

Like a moth

Attracted to a candle flame

I was attracted to you

Though the touch can hurt so much

You are light in my heart

That I cant do without

Through the distance

We embrace and rekindled again

A seemingly hopeless infatuation, they had say

Our love

Like a dying flame

Still flickering with promises with passion

Like silky velvet,

Caressing bare skin

Smooth… yet it hurts

Do you still the strength to carry on?

Entwined fingers

Remaining faithful to the grip

Holding on to this promise

Can we still reach despite the distance?

I will still stay here, waiting.

A/n: Reviews welcome.
