The Trick:
A bloody tear falls from my eye,
Your expression tells me something is wrong.
You look at me with deep concern and begin to cry,
I don't know what happened you once were strong.
The sky turns a deadly red,
As you look at me and turn away.
You forget all that was ever said,
As you walk away in a craze.
A bloody tear falls from your eye,
As you stand up and face me.
You make me almost want to cry,
As you show me something I would only see in a dream.
You show me your true self,
someone who is straight from hell.
I look away at first because I am in shock,
But then I turn back to look at her.
I hand her a nicely wrapped box,
And I say, "You are still my world."
No worries she becomes happy,
All stress is lifted off her back.
She now is laughing,
as my skin turns black!
"You fool," she yells at me,
"You gave in," she ends.
I want to scream,
I want to forget....
The disease spreads all over me,
Engulfing me.
Hurting me,
Killing me.
Soon I am black as the night,
with a smile of white.
I begin to cry,
as I lose all might.
I am now you,
My dear.
Who knew?
That I would end up my own fear.
