The Storm:

The sky turns gray,
Black clouds form.
The color of the sky fades,
This is a sign of a storm.
The Angels must be sad,
because it is pouring down rain.
God must be mad,
because everything is so plain.
There is a strong current of wind,
It tears out trees.
The tree misses,
a group of three.
The sound of thunder shakes the earth,
The strikes of lighting lighten up the world.
Everything stops even all births,
all because of one young girl.
She has her hands in the sky,
As if she was controlling all of this.
She looks at me like she wanted to cry,
I walk over to her and give her a kiss.
A smile forms on her face,
The clouds go away.
This is now an ordinary day,
There is no longer any more gray.
The sun now shines down on us,
her and I.
She only needed love,
and a kiss to make her not cry.
And I gave her that,
For it was all she asked.
She took off her mask,
And learned how to laugh.
