So many people dress the same, look the same, think the same. Break out. Be what you really are and shatter the shell you're but a convict in.

ELIXIR OF MARROW

The world is nothing but a rainbow of grey,
Desaturated monotonous and fey,
Where colors lack and and chaos spreads,
Colors creep away where blandness treads,
Once green shown in the people's souls,
Now lost within the colorless folds.

One must walk down the roads asunder,
Find one's color and paint not the skin but under,
Let liberating dye do its work and begin anew,
Yet sadly you will be one of the very few,
Who have found their way and tore away,
From crowd mentality every single day.

Look deep, look sharp, find your real voice,
Somewhere there it is, take the right choice,
Locked in a prison, you hold the only key,
Unlock the bar and yell "this is me!",
Embrace yourself, hide not under a shroud,
Loose your core, rejoice, be proud!

What good's a book blank cover to cover?
A wall guarding nothing, a useless tower,
Pilgrims surround the barricade so high,
Turn around and leave to a place so nigh,
Where relics stowed inside are unique,
So must you find your own mystique.

The world's a place of fakes and identical hues,
Yet in you is integrity you can't abuse,
Put on a cloak bright in crest and color,
Stand out from collective palor,
Embrace that hidden elixir of marrow,
Despite the minds of those around you, so narrow.
