What is Love?

Love is when you know someone,
When you feel your heart's joy has just begun.

When you cherish every smile, kiss, and tear,
When you know that you never again will fear.

Love is something looked at as life's single prize,
The few that find it, it lasts all their lives.

It's when you can have a conversation without ever speaking a word,
When you know every single "I love you" that they have ever heard.

When you know and accept their past, good and bad,
And you still know they are the best ever to be had.

When they complete you in every single way,
When it is their face you look forward to seeing at the end of each and
every day.

Love is when you are completely filled just knowing they are near,
And the universe inside their heart is what you hold dear.

When your heart and mind beat and think as one,
It is then that you know the true meaning of happiness has come.

Love is when you make each other laugh,
When you trust each other, and always have.

When you are mesmerized by their Grace,
It is then you know, you've seen Love's face.

For the face of Love can only be found,
In friendship first, then a common ground.

You may be wondering how I know all this,
It is because the face of Love, I have kissed.
