This is just to say
That I've never really recovered
And that I know you look at me like I have
Or may not even consider it at all

But for so long we were near to the same person
For so long I called you friend.
And then you walked away from me
Without any true explanation

So this is just to say
That I'll always miss you
And that you were always my closest friend
Even if not the truest.
