S U P E R F I C I A L

All you care about is the pop culture

Taking over our world today

You can’t see beyond the mirror’s

Reflection of yourself

Self-absorbed, you claim not to be shallow

But you are

Superficial masks that you believe are truth

Vocabulary is littered with words such as:

“like, sorta, you know, kinda”

What language is that you’re speaking?

You’re an insult to the English tongue

Why don’t you look beyond yourself

And see the rest of the world?

Because it doesn’t revolve around you

You’re just a speck in a field of specks

And indifferent to us all
