Stole

I’ve been robbed of my best friend

And now we hardly talk

You stole her from me

And I used to be your friend

But I’m scared that I’m starting to

Hate you now

Because you didn’t try to steal her FROM me

You just wanted her for YOUR own friend

And I know I should just let her go

But I can’t

She’s my sister, my other half

She owns my deepest secrets

She owns my love and care

You already have so much

The looks, the boys, the money

Everyone likes you, but it’s not enough

You had to steal her, too

Can I have my best friend back?

You don’t care for her like I do

But my best friend doesn’t know that

And she’s forgotten to notice me

And she only sees you now

Please let me have my best friend back

Because I’m incomplete
