I ran down the hill with the air rushing through my hair
And as the smell of Spring hits my nose
I realize this is where I belong and this is where I can just get lost in
the moment.
My feet's rhythmic pounding on the pavement soothes my tortured soul.
Out here I am free.
Free from hate, anger, fear.
Free from sadness, school, and society's control.
Out here I can just exist without rules or problems.
Out here the silence and tranquility of the surroundings exist with me.
Out here I am free.
