Roses of steel
Bright autumn is now dreary winter
The warmth you gave me
Has frozen over
The light you shed on me
Has long since burnt out
The love you felt for me
Is dead and buried
I still feel for you
You can't see it
You have her now
She brightens your days
And puts the stars in your sky
Everyday, I see you so happy
With her
Not me.
I am no more to you
The past you've left behind
You left me out in the storm
Hoping to get struck by lightning
While you indulge in the hearth of her presence.
You'll never tire of her
You'll endlessly fascinate her
Every kiss
A knife through my heart
Every stare
Another agonizing strike from Cupid's bow
I love thee so much I cannot move on
My pain hidden beneath an unknowing smile
Inside I cry out for you
You'll never hear me
For you only wish to hear her cries of delight
You may be the death of me
Wanting something I will never have
How much I wish for your embrace
I see it in my dreams
But I wake up and face the harsh reality
It's you and her
You and me no more
We never were
Never are
Never shall be
With her by your side what more do you need?
So helpless
So lost
Suffocating with the poison of cupid's arrow
Guy + Lauren
Guy+Sam 4 ever
Why?
So blind with my tears in your hand
